Northamptonshire's Paranormal Investigation Team

NEVER FEAR.........THE TEAM IS HERE

INVESTIGATIONS CARRIED OUT

INVESTIGATIONS ALREADY CARRIED OUT

On 19th March 2009, Northamptonshire Paranormal Investigation Team, carried out an investigation of the Knights Lodge public house on Tower Hill Corby Northants. Members taking part where, Angie, Alison, Elaine, Russ and myself Dennis Binks. Along side us where a photographer and a reporter from the Northants Evening Telegraph.

We all arrived at about 11-30pm and introduced ourselves to the members of the press. The vigil was going to be a room up stairs which is reported to have Paranormal activity. Here is what has been reported in the past.

Location: Corby - Knight's Lodge public house
Type: Haunting Manifestation
Date / Time: Twentieth century
Further Comments: Heard coming from an empty bedroom, the sounds of young female laughter and chatter were heard. There are also reports of phantom footfalls on the staircase, and a fleeting glimpse of a shadowy figure before it vanished.

Landlady Gaynor Elliott has been in charge for just six weeks but has already realised she is not alone at the Knight's Lodge in Tower Hill Road.

She saw a hooded monk on the day she moved in, and an electrician has refused to finish a job after being pushed while he was working in an upstairs room.

All the equipment was taken upstairs and so the vigil began. We used EMF meters, Temperature Gauges, Dowsing rods, compasses and three  night visioual digital cam-corders.

After about 30 minutes one of the cam-corders switched itself off, this has never happened before and then another four times throughout the vigil. At the far end of the room a distinctive rap, like someone knocking on the wood covered wall panels was heard and the land lady came out from her living accomodation next door and enquired if anyone was knocking.

Around an hour later myself, Alison and Angie distinctly seen a shadowy figure pass from wall to wall down where the knocking came from.

Nothing else reported.
